Synthetic vs. Essential Oils….
We offer both products to our customers. There are two reasons for doing so.
Simply put, you can not capture the scent of a fresh baked Pumpkin Pie using Essential Oils. People still love the scent of such things that Mother Nature can’t recreate. Our Synthetic Oils pass the California Proposition 65.list of cancer causing ingredients and are considered safe, phthalate-free and free of any petrochemical (paraffin) by-products. Another reason for using Synthetic Oils is due to sustainability issues with Essential Oils. Synthetics replace diminishing natural raw materials and are more affordable to the consumer compared to Essential Oils. If everyone used only essential oils to scent their products, we would create an imbalance on the planet from the over-harvesting of natural resources and destruction of forests and wetlands to make room for new farms.
CAN I USE MY VOTIVES OUTSIDE OF THE GLASS CONTAINER?
Soy Wax is a softer wax compared to traditional waxes. Therefore, it needs to be in a tight fitting glass holder to ensure proper burning.
Do you use other natural Waxes?
We only use pure Soy Wax , grown in North America.
Palm Waxes are not a sustainable choice!, many rainforests are destroyed to make way for such farms.
